| Account identifier | An anonymous uid created on its own the first time you open the game. It is what holds your kites, your designs, your ranking and your duel history. |
| Player name | The one you type. The server reviews it before accepting it, and your rivals and the ranking can see it. You can change it whenever you want. |
| Only if you link Apple or Google. It is what gets your account back when you change phones. With Apple's "Hide My Email" we receive the relay address and never your real one. | |
| Gameplay activity | Duels played, cuts for and against, kite balance, ranking score and the traces of the online duel. That is what we use to match you, work out the ranking and let the server validate who won. |
| Purchase history | Which packs you bought, so we can credit them and give your designs back on another phone. Payment details never reach us. |
| Device identifier | The notification token, only if you accept notifications. It is what lets us tell you your daily kites are ready. |
| Product interaction | Usage events —which screens get opened, whether a duel ended or was abandoned— tied to your uid, so we can tell what works and what doesn't. |
| Crash data | When something breaks, a technical report with your phone model, the version and where it blew up. It carries no email and no IP address and is not linked to your identity. |
That is all of it. We do not ask for your phone number, we do not read your contacts, we do not use your location, and there are no ads anywhere in the game. Nothing we collect is used to track you across other apps or shared with data brokers.
The first time you open Volantín, an anonymous account is created on our server. We ask for no email, no name and no password: it exists so your kites and your online progress belong to you and not to the phone.
Linking an Apple or Google account is optional, and it is only required for open matchmaking, where you play strangers and there is a ranking. The ladder of rivals, the practice yard, the kite wardrobe and duels with a friend by code all work without linking anything.
If you never link and you lose the phone, that account cannot be recovered. We have no way to prove it was yours — and we would rather not have one.
Nobody who isn't needed to run the game. We do not sell personal data and we do not hand it over for advertising. The providers that process data on our behalf are:
All of them work under our instructions and only for what this policy describes. We may also hand over data when a legal order requires it.
The database is in São Paulo, Brazil (Supabase region sa-east-1). The providers above may process data in the United States and other countries. If you play from the European Union or the United Kingdom, those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
For as long as your account exists. When you delete it, your profile, balance, ranking, duel history and registered devices are erased. Crash reports and usage events expire on their own after 90 days.
There is one exception: purchase transaction records —what was bought, when and for how much— are kept even if you delete your account, because Chilean accounting and tax law requires us to keep them. They are detached from your profile and used for nothing else.
Purchases are charged by Apple or Google, depending on the store you downloaded the game from. Pewén Labs does not receive, process or store your payment details. All that reaches us is the receipt, which we verify with the store in order to credit what you bought.
If you accept them, we send notifications to tell you your daily kites are ready. Nothing else: we do not use them for third-party promotions. You can switch them off whenever you like in your phone's settings, and the token stops working at that point.
Under Chile's Law 19.628, Brazil's LGPD, the GDPR (EU and UK), the CCPA (California) and equivalent regulations, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, object to its processing and take it with you.
The fastest way to exercise deletion is to delete your account from the game itself: it is immediate and you don't have to ask us. For anything else, write to contacto@pewen.dev and we answer within two business days.
We process your data to provide the service you asked for when you installed the game —that is the legal basis for almost all of it— and on your consent for what is optional: notifications and account linking.
Volantín is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 to play, or older where your country's law requires it (16 across much of the European Union). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age; if you tell us about an account like that, we delete it. Write to contacto@pewen.dev.
If you contact us at contacto@pewen.dev with a question, bug report or suggestion, we keep that correspondence as long as needed to answer and follow up. We do not use it for anything else, we do not share it, and we do not add it to any marketing list.
